Job Description

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk consultant to join our team in Mumbai. Successful candidate will have a strong background in credit risk consulting and a solid understanding of other crucial risks such as Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on credit risk consulting offerings, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Capital computation, model development and validation, credit policy and process, and risk appetite statements.
  • Provide expertise in credit risk assessment, measurement, and management to clients in the banking and financial services industry.
  • Provide key support in other risk areas, including Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models, including probability of default (PD), loss given default (LGD), and exposure at default (EAD) models.
  • Validate credit risk models and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics) OR MBA from a Tier II or III college, CFA, or FRM certification is beneficial.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in the risk domain.
  • Familiarity with credit risk concepts, including ECL, Capital computation, and credit risk modeling, Credit Policy and Process Review.
  • Strong understanding of Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
